Charming Cottage Homes Now Under Construction at Kennesaw Village
Representatives at Kennesaw Farms are pleased to announce construction in the Kennesaw Village section of the neo-traditional neighborhood development. Construction began early this summer on the cottages in Kennesaw Village, a section within Kennesaw Farms, which is located at 1000 Kennesaw Boulevard just off Gallatin Pike in Gallatin.
The Kennesaw Village cottage homes are nestled near the Town Center, where residents can enjoy lifestyle with the conveniences of boutiques, cafes and restaurants near-by. These homes are built to promote front-porch living, as well as the charm and feel of small-town life.
Each beautiful single-family cottage home features a unique style with neo-traditional architecture and comes with standard features, such as wood floors, 10-foot smooth ceilings, crown molding, large master suites with tray ceilings and walk-in closets and luxurious master baths with ceramic-tiled floors.
Exterior features include full brick or James Hardies siding, two- and three-car garages with rear entry (to keep the streetscape appealing from the front), upgraded landscaping packages and patio or deck options.
Kennesaw Farms homebuyers will receive a builder’s warranty and qualified designers for help in selections. The cottage homes start from the low $300’s.
Truly a lifestyle destination, Kennesaw Farms is situated on 300 acres of gently rolling hills in which a unique mixed-use development is quickly springing up.
Kennesaw Farms offers a variety of additional home styles within the different sections of the community. A system of pedestrian-friendly streetscapes connects the neighborhood and its townhomes, cottages, single- and multi-family homes with numerous pocket parks, pools and other community-wide amenities.
As a neo-traditional neighborhood, the developers have plans for retail and office space within the community, which will make it possible for residents to cut down on commuting by having shopping, dining and work all within walking distance.
Also integral to the neighborhood is its historic past that dates back to the 1800’s. Once the home to legendary thoroughbred horse farm, which produced two Kentucky Derby winners, the developers have worked to preserve the site’s history by restoring the property’s brick plantation farmhouse. The mansion, which was built in 1856 and has been the home of many Kennesaw Farm’ owners, now serves as the location for Kennesaw Realty and is the neighborhood’s welcome center.
“Kennesaw Farms has a special place in history for Sumner County. During development, we wanted to create a community where residents can feel at home an appreciate what Kennesaw Farms once was and what it stands for today,” says David Luckey, developer of Kennesaw Farms.
The welcome center/historic farmhouse is open to the public during regular business hours on weekdays and weekends.
To get to Kennesaw Farms, take Interstate 65 north to Veterans Parkway and merge onto Gallatin Pike at the end of the parkway. Travel three miles and Kennesaw Farms will be on the left.
